We are a second generation company that only builds a limited amount of homes at one time to ensure our clients get the on-site attention to their home that they expect. From the initial meeting to move-in we strive to deliver to our clients an enjoyable, rewarding and hassle-free experience.
They may look like a couple of youngsters, but owners Matt Lively and Lisa Denison Lively have a lifetime of experience in construction. Lisa grew up in the business after her father, Bob Denison, built his first home for a friend in 1977 and turned it into a business. She worked sales in a model home, helped with selections of finish out materials and managed the money going out.
Matt started out in construction after high school focusing more on the electrical and low voltage side where he learned the codes, scheduling and quality of work. After the two met, Matt went to work for the company learning every aspect of the construction business side with Lisa. When Bob retired in 1999, Matt and Lisa bought the company and continued the vision of building a high quality home using the best materials and skilled craftsman. Today they make the prefect team with Matt usually found on the jobsite as a hands-on builder making sure the quality of material and workmanship is exceptional.
Lisa works more closely with our clients through the hundreds of decisions and selections that are made throughout the process. She also handles quality control on the finish out of the homes and keeps the client aware of the budget. We maintain quality and communication by keeping our company small and only building a few jobs at a time. This gives our clients the personal, hands-on experience they should expect from their builder.
New home construction has been our primary focus since 1977. In that time we have adapted to current trends in construction while not wavering from our commitment to build a quality, long lasting home using the best materials and techniques around. We also recognize that most people are building their first home and aren’t familiar with the process. We believe that communication is key to a great builder-buyer experience and we strive to keep our clients informed on what’s going on throughout the build and keep them involved in every process.
Are you happy with where you are but just need more room or an updated floorplan? We offer complete home remodeling involving more than just a small add-on and can take a home that may be older or needs a better layout and completely transform it. We can do all aspects including design and drafting the blueprints, utilities and demolition.
A Barndominium, or steel-framed home, has quickly becoming an alternative to contemporary “stick-built” construction because of its structural integrity, energy efficiency and ability to achieve large-span open areas without the need of supportive columns. They can also have a cost advantage over wood-framed homes if designed that way. Other advantages are the steel framed structure and metal roof, engineer design to withstand hurricane winds and in some cases, discounts for homeowners insurance.
There are many different styles and options available. The exterior can be finished with stone or brick and the interior spaces can be designed and finished just like a traditional home. Several floor plans are available for the living area and we can tailor the building to your needs.
